Yonas Yohannes, PhD, MBA

Yonas Yohannes has over 35 years of combined   experience as a C-level leader and entrepreneur in the financial services, high-tech, healthcare industries, business consulting, and SaaS solution development. His extensive executive leadership experience spans a global scale and includes expertise in operations, business development, new product development, and advising and communicating with top-level executives to drive strategic visions. He has held CEO, COO, CTO, CPO, and CSO positions and has founded, grown, and sold/merged several companies. Mr. Yohannes provides executive consulting in banking and payment strategies, new business and platform development, service delivery design and operations, technology, data center design, SaaS business and solution development, enterprise security, and client and account management. In addition to being a proven leader, Mr. Yohannes has hands-on experience in conceiving, designing, and developing B2B2C solutions from the ground up.

Dr Kansiime Evas Atwine is a Clinical Psychologist and Mental Health Professional, with a total of over 15 years’ experience in Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Services. She is the Chief Executive Office and Founder of the International Centre for Mental Health and Family Care (ICFC) Ltd-a Workplace and Family-Focused Organization.  Dr Atwine possesses specialized skills in Marriage and Couple Therapy, Parenting and Relationship Coaching.  Her first degree is in Social Work and Social Administration, a Masters Degree in Demography and Population Studies from Makerere University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology, Doctorate of Humanitiesfrom Open Christian University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Mental Health and Counselling Psychology at NkumbaUniversity in Uganda.

Sheba Rugege Hakiza, MPH

Sheba Rugege Hakiza, MPH

Sheba Rugege Hakiza is the President and Founder of Pinnacle Planning Associates, a management consulting firm dedicated to advancing health equity, community engagement, and business operational excellence. With a public health and biology background, Sheba has consistently championed initiatives addressing healthcare disparities and promoting inclusive medical research. As the author of "Beyond Barriers: Diversity Action Plans," Sheba established herself as a thought leader in clinical trial diversity. This work launched the Beyond Barriers Trials Initiative, a program highlighting the need for increased diversity in clinical trial participation to improve health outcomes across all populations. Her diverse career spans clinical trials, biotechnology project management, and leadership roles as a clinical trials systems manager and senior clinical research associate. She has also been a Principal Investigator in an International Infectious Disease Study, contributing to global health.

In addition to her scientific background, Sheba is a Regional Vice President partner in a financial services firm, holding insurance and securities licenses. With certifications as a Certified Scrum Master Professional and Certified Business Consultant, Sheba drives innovation and efficiency across sectors. She is actively involved in international nonprofit boards, demonstrating her dedication to addressing global issues. She serves on the Treasurer and Executive Board for the United States Rwandan Community Abroad (USRCA) and Commissioner for Trade and Investment for the Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia RCA. Known for her dynamic public speaking and organizational skills, she leads Pinnacle Planning Associates with a visionary approach.

 

Collin Babirukamu, MBA

Collin Babirukamu, MBA

Collin Babirukamu is a strategic digital transformation leader with over 25 years of experience in technology and management across East Africa. He currently serves as the Director of E-Government Services at the National IT Authority of Uganda (NITA-U) and is a member of the advisory board of Living Goods (Uganda).

Throughout his career, Babirukamu has held several key positions, including:

  • Chief Information Officer at the Bank of Uganda (since February 2025)
  • Director of E-Government Services at NITA-U (2021-2025)
  • Cloud Territory Leader at Oracle Corporation East Africa
  • Chief Information Officer and Head of IT at the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Uganda
  • IT consultant for the World Bank-funded Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS) project

Babirukamu holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Mbarara University of Science & Technology, a Master's in Leadership Development in ICT & the Knowledge Society from the University of Mauritius, and post-graduate diplomas in Business Administration from the University of Leicester and ICT & Knowledge Society from Dublin City University3. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Artificial Intelligence.

His professional certifications include Digital Transformation from MIT Professional Education, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, Balanced Score Card/Strategy, ICT Leadership Development, Information Security, ITIL, Cisco, Microsoft, HP Servers, and Global Oil and Gas Management.

Brigadier General Dr. Patrick Ocen

Brigadier General Dr. Patrick Ocen

Brig (Dr) Patrick Ocen is a senior officer in the Uganda People's Defence Forces (UPDF) with over 27 years of experience in military medical services. He is the Deputy Chief of Medical Services and Director of Mental Health for the UPDF. Dr. Ocen is a psychiatrist with extensive clinical and administrative experience in military healthcare.

Dr. Ocen is dedicated to evidence-based medicine, teamwork, and professional development in military and healthcare settings. He has contributed to policy development and mental health initiatives within the UPDF. Dr.Ocen has treated both civilian and military individuals for psychiatric support.

Pastor Sarah Nalule Lwanga is a Global Mental Health Specialist with 24 years’ experience in active Mental health service delivery. She is a Pastor at Reigning Family Chapel in Kampala. She has worked with International Humanitarian service organizations (INNGOs) to address the Mental Health needs of people exposed to Traumatic events like War/Violence, Earthquakes and Disease epidemics (Both natural and man-made disasters).

Her first degree is in Social Work and Social Administration, a Diploma in Project Planning and Management, Post graduate training in Clinical Aromatherapy and a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology.

Dr. Lt Col (Rrd) Emmanuel Abangira Rwebangira

Dr. Lt Col (Rrd) Emmanuel Abangira Rwebangira

Dr. Lt Col (Rtd) Emmanuel Abangira Rwebangira (MPH-L) is a retired senior military officer in the Uganda People's Defense Forces (UPDF). He is currently consulting with the UPDF  as a senior Ophthalmic officer. His focus is on treating patients who have been wounded during active duty services, specializing in treating cataracts and glaucoma.

Emmanuel holds a masters degree in public health in leadership, majoring in women health, a bachelor degree in business administration management - all from Uganda Christian University. Additionally, Emmanuel holds a certificate in Management (CIM) from Uganda Management Institute (UMI), a diploma in ENT from Fort Sam Houston, TX, U.S.A, a diploma in mental health care, and a post-basic diploma in Ophthalmology from Jinja School of Ophthalmology in Jinja city, Uganda.


Emmanuel brings more than 10 years of experience treating mental conditions from admission to discharge at Butabika National Referral Hospital in Uganda.


Emmanuel has served in various war zones, such as in Somalia, Liberia, and Nzara in South Sudan, to treat the wounded in war zones, focusing on treating stress-induced disorders.
